Have no fear for I have returned intact from SpaghettiLand, oh yes :o)
I had an absolutely wonderful time just wandering around Rome and Florence in the sunshine and seeing what there was to be seen. Florence in particular was beautiful, once the sun came out, and even when it was raining if I'm truthful.
While I was there I wrote a travel journal which I'll convert into some bloggage for you, so you can read about all my adventures, I'll do that separately and link to it for you, so you can choose whether to read it or not, for now, I'll give you a little taster with some of my favourite pics that I took while I was over there.
The Colosseum - Epic win
The statue of Victor Emanuele II, the first king of a united Italy
Looking into the Pantheon from the entrance
A view of St Peters Basilica from outside Castel San'Angelo
Speaks for itself, the Italian moped phenomenon!!
The view of Florence from Piazzale Michaelangelo
Eyeing up the goods on the Ponte Vecchio
Rain in Florence, a view from the Ponte Vecchio
Giardino de Boboli - part of the Pitti Palace
The ill conceived Torro Pendente
